How does it work?
I will inspect your car and agree a figure that you will receive once the car has been sold. This will generally be midway between an outright trade purchase price and what you could realistically obtain through a private sale. I will then spend approximately 10-12 hours valeting and preparing the car for sale, as soon as you meet with me and see my cars you will appreciate the work I put into presentation! Once prepared your car will be photographed and marketed nationally via website, Pistonheads and Autotrader. I will then deal with all subsequent enquiries and see the sale through to completion as quickly as possible, I would generally expect to find a buyer within 4 weeks. I do however ask to have your car for a minimum of 6 weeks to enable us to market it effectively.
When and how will I get paid?
I guarantee to pay you by bank transfer within 48 hours of us receiving cleared funds for your vehicle.
Are there any other costs involved?
No, unless previously agreed at the time of inspection. For example if I feel your car needs cosmetic or mechanical attention to put it into a saleable condition I will quote for this work and will only expect to be re-imbursed if I fail to sell your car and it is subsequently returned to yourself. All valeting and marketing costs will be our responsibility.
Can I cancel my insurance?
Yes, while your car is in my custody I will take total responsibility for it and it will be comprehensively insured under my trade policy.
Do I receive a receipt for my car?
Yes, at the time of accepting your car we will ask you to sign an agreement which simply and clearly sets out the terms discussed and you will retain a copy.
Can you supply references from previous customers?
